CockroachDB + Querri

CockroachDB reporting for people who don't write SQL

Product, finance and ops teams get answers about orders, accounts and usage from the CockroachDB tables you select, which Querri copies into its Library so nobody queries the cluster directly.

Querri only reads from CockroachDB and never changes your records. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified, and your data is never used to train a model.

What you can answer

Questions teams ask about their CockroachDB data

Which features do our biggest accounts actually use?

The answer sits in application tables that only engineers can query, and they rarely have time for one-off requests. Querri copies those tables on a schedule so account managers can ask in chat themselves, with CRM data alongside.

AI Chat

Can support see an account's order history without a database login?

Handing cluster credentials to people outside engineering is a security conversation nobody wants. In Querri, workspace sharing and row-level access decide who sees which rows of the synced copy.

Workspaces & access

Is daily order volume holding steady across regions?

CockroachDB's DB Console shows how the cluster is running, not how the business is doing. Querri turns the synced orders table into a dashboard that updates with each sync.

What comes over

What Querri reads from CockroachDB

Querri copies this data into your Library on a schedule, next to every other system you connect, so one question can draw on all of it.

  • Tables
  • Views
  • Schemas

Incremental syncs

After the first load, each scheduled sync brings in only rows that are new or changed since the last one.

Read only

Querri reads from CockroachDB and never creates, edits or deletes anything there. Every answer runs on Querri's own copy.

Who sees what

Querri's own sharing and row-level access decide who sees which rows, in chat, dashboards, Claude, ChatGPT and the API.

FAQ

CockroachDB and Querri: common questions

How do I connect CockroachDB to Querri?

Ask the Connector Agent for CockroachDB, then enter the host, port, database, user and password. Pick a TLS mode: verify-full for CockroachDB Cloud, require for a cluster with its own CA. Choose a schema, public by default, and the tables to bring in.

What CockroachDB data comes into Querri?

The tables and views in the schema you choose, with their columns and types. CockroachDB's internal schemas, such as crdb_internal and pg_catalog, are left out of the picker, and only the tables you select are copied.

How often is CockroachDB data refreshed?

Each table follows the schedule you give it. Choose a full reload daily, weekly or monthly, or an incremental sync hourly, daily or weekly that brings in only rows where a cursor column like updated_at has moved forward since the last run.

Why not use the PostgreSQL connector for CockroachDB?

CockroachDB speaks the PostgreSQL wire protocol, but Querri's PostgreSQL connector reads tables with a binary COPY command that CockroachDB has not implemented. The CockroachDB connector reads through a CockroachDB-specific driver instead, so use it for any CockroachDB cluster.

Does Querri change anything in CockroachDB?

No. Querri only reads from CockroachDB. It never creates, edits or deletes records there, and every answer runs on Querri's own copy of the data.

Is my CockroachDB data secure in Querri?

Yes. Querri is SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified, credentials are stored encrypted, and your data is never used to train a model.
