How do I connect IBM Db2 to Querri?
Upload your licensed copy of IBM's ibm_db driver once for your organization, then enter the host, port, database name, user and password in the secure form. Db2 on Cloud needs TLS turned on and usually port 50001. Databases on a private network can connect through a VPN tunnel.
What data does Querri read from IBM Db2?
The tables and views in the schema you choose, or in the user's default schema if you leave it empty. You pick which ones to bring in. Db2's own catalog schemas, such as SYSIBM and SYSCAT, are hidden from the picker.
How often does Db2 data refresh in Querri?
As often as you schedule it. A full refresh reloads each table daily, weekly or monthly. An incremental sync runs hourly, daily or weekly and brings in only rows past the last value of a cursor column you choose, such as a last-updated timestamp.
Which editions of IBM Db2 does Querri support?
Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows, and Db2 on Cloud. One limit to know: the Db2 driver builds its connection string from your settings, so a user name, password or database name containing a semicolon is refused. Use an account whose credentials don't include one.
Does Querri change anything in IBM Db2?
No. Querri only reads from IBM Db2. It never creates, edits or deletes records there, and every answer runs on Querri's own copy of the data.
Is my IBM Db2 data secure in Querri?
Yes. Querri is SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified, credentials are stored encrypted, and your data is never used to train a model.
