SAP HANA + Querri

SAP HANA analytics your business users can run

Querri copies the HANA tables and views you choose, from HANA Cloud or an on-premise system, into its Library. Business users then ask about them in plain language instead of filing a report request.

Querri only reads from SAP HANA and never changes your records. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified, and your data is never used to train a model.

What you can answer

Questions teams ask about their SAP HANA data

Do sales and finance agree on what counts as net revenue?

In HANA the same figure can be built from several tables, and the logic often lives with the SAP team. Querri lets you write the definition down once as a rule, so every answer about net revenue uses it.

Facts & rules

How do HANA actuals compare with the budget spreadsheet?

Comparing HANA figures with a plan usually means a fresh export every time the plan changes. Querri keeps the HANA copy and the spreadsheet in the same Library, so one question puts actuals beside budget.

The Library

Which supplier deliveries arrived late this week?

A late-delivery check usually lives in a report someone has to remember to run. Querri can check the synced HANA tables every night and flag the suppliers that slipped.

What comes over

What Querri reads from SAP HANA

Querri copies this data into your Library on a schedule, next to every other system you connect, so one question can draw on all of it.

  • Tables
  • Views
  • Schemas

Incremental syncs

After the first load, each scheduled sync brings in only rows that are new or changed since the last one.

Read only

Querri reads from SAP HANA and never creates, edits or deletes anything there. Every answer runs on Querri's own copy.

Who sees what

Querri's own sharing and row-level access decide who sees which rows, in chat, dashboards, Claude, ChatGPT and the API.

How to connect

Connect SAP HANA to Querri

  1. 1

    Ask the Connector Agent

Say "connect SAP HANA" or pick it from the connector catalog.

  2. 2

Sign in or add your credentials

Enter the host, port, user and password in the secure form. HANA Cloud uses port 443 with TLS; on-premise systems usually use port 3NN15, where NN is the instance number, and, on multi-tenant systems, a tenant database name. SAP licenses its hdbcli driver to you rather than to Querri, so someone in your organization uploads your copy once before connecting.

  3. 3

    Choose what to bring in

Pick the data you want and how often it refreshes, then approve the first load.

  4. 4

    Ask your first question

The data lands in your Library, ready for chat, dashboards and scheduled reports.

FAQ

SAP HANA and Querri: common questions

How do I connect SAP HANA to Querri?

Upload your licensed copy of SAP's hdbcli driver once, then enter the host, port, user and password. HANA Cloud takes its SQL endpoint on port 443 with TLS. On-premise multi-tenant systems also need the tenant database name, and private networks connect through a VPN tunnel.

What data does Querri read from SAP HANA?

Tables and views in the schema you pick, or the user's default schema. HANA's internal system schemas are hidden from the picker, but SYSTEM and the SAP-prefixed application schemas stay visible, because they hold real tables on S/4HANA and trial systems.

How often does SAP HANA data refresh?

On your schedule. Pick a full refresh daily, weekly or monthly, or an incremental sync hourly, daily or weekly. Incremental syncs use a cursor column, such as a change timestamp, and copy only rows past the last value Querri saw.

Can Querri connect to an on-premise HANA server with a self-signed certificate?

Yes. Keep encryption on and turn off certificate validation for that server only. Leave validation on for HANA Cloud, where encryption is required. Querri waits 15 seconds for a connection, so an unreachable host fails quickly instead of hanging.

Does Querri change anything in SAP HANA?

No. Querri only reads from SAP HANA. It never creates, edits or deletes records there, and every answer runs on Querri's own copy of the data.

Is my SAP HANA data secure in Querri?

Yes. Querri is SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified, credentials are stored encrypted, and your data is never used to train a model.
