Teradata + Querri

Teradata reporting without the SQL queue

Pick the Teradata databases, tables and views that matter and Querri brings a copy into its Library. Analysts and business teams then ask in plain language and share what they find.

Querri only reads from Teradata and never changes your records. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified, and your data is never used to train a model.

What you can answer

Questions teams ask about their Teradata data

Can regional managers see only their own region's rows?

Giving each region its own view in Teradata usually takes a DBA request per audience. In Querri, workspaces and row-level access decide who sees which rows of the synced copy, in chat and on dashboards alike.

Workspaces & access

Why does every team report a different churn number?

When each team writes its own SQL against Teradata, the same metric drifts from report to report. Querri lets you mark an answer as trusted, so the next person who asks gets the approved figure and how it was worked out.

Trusted answers

Can the weekly sales pack build itself from Teradata?

Weekly packs often mean running saved BTEQ scripts and pasting the results into slides. Querri can run the questions against the synced tables on a schedule and send the finished report to the people who need it.

What comes over

What Querri reads from Teradata

Querri copies this data into your Library on a schedule, next to every other system you connect, so one question can draw on all of it.

  • Tables
  • Views
  • Databases

Incremental syncs

After the first load, each scheduled sync brings in only rows that are new or changed since the last one.

Read only

Querri reads from Teradata and never creates, edits or deletes anything there. Every answer runs on Querri's own copy.

Who sees what

Querri's own sharing and row-level access decide who sees which rows, in chat, dashboards, Claude, ChatGPT and the API.

    Choose what to bring in

Pick the data you want and how often it refreshes, then approve the first load.

  4. 4

    Ask your first question

FAQ

Teradata and Querri: common questions

How do I connect Teradata to Querri?

Upload your licensed teradatasql driver and teradatasqlalchemy dialect once for your organization. Then enter the host, port (usually 1025), user and password, pick TD2 or LDAP logon, and set the TLS mode. Systems on a private network can connect through a VPN tunnel.

What data does Querri read from Teradata?

Tables and views in the Teradata database you name, or the user's default database if you leave it blank. Teradata system databases such as DBC and SYSLIB are hidden from the picker, though you can still type any database name.

How often does Teradata data refresh?

You choose. A full refresh reloads the selected tables daily, weekly or monthly. Incremental syncs run hourly, daily or weekly and pick up only rows past the last value of a cursor column you choose, so large fact tables aren't reloaded in full each time.

Does Querri support Kerberos or TDNEGO logon for Teradata?

No. Querri accepts TD2 and LDAP logon only. Kerberos and TDNEGO could authenticate with the identity of the server Querri runs on rather than yours, so they're left out. When TLS isn't used, Teradata's own session encryption is on by default.

Does Querri change anything in Teradata?

No. Querri only reads from Teradata. It never creates, edits or deletes records there, and every answer runs on Querri's own copy of the data.

Is my Teradata data secure in Querri?

Yes. Querri is SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and ISO 27001:2022 certified, credentials are stored encrypted, and your data is never used to train a model.
